Arbuckle Community Church is located in the small
County of Colusa. The church was established on
September 20, 1879. On election day in 1896 the original
church was destroyed by a fire and was rebuilt thereafter.
In 1913, this church was replaced and the new one was
decicated on December 21, 1913. The church and social
hall were moved to it's current location on Hillgate Road
in 1951 to allow the construction of the I-5 freeway in the
